Snail aesthetic paint is purified birch tar does not contain any compounds that have led the EU to have reservations about spruce - and pine tar. Instead, birch has a lot of phenolic compounds that prevent microbes and viruses. Snails do not cross the paint and thus do not destroy the crop.
